VibeAround is a desktop application that acts as a central hub for your local AI coding assistants. Instead of juggling separate terminal windows for tools like Claude Code, Codex CLI, or Gemini CLI, you launch and manage them all from VibeAround. Its core function is to keep these 'agents' running and accessible, not just from your desktop terminal, but from anywhere—through a web browser, or even by sending them messages via chat apps like Telegram, Discord, or Slack.

What sets VibeAround apart is its focus on a local-first, multi-channel architecture. Your AI agents run on your own machine, preserving your local environment, credentials, and toolchains. VibeAround then builds bridges to those agents through plugins for messaging apps, a built-in web terminal, and a universal proxy. This proxy is a key feature, as it translates requests between different AI provider APIs (like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini), letting you switch models without changing each tool's configuration. You can also hand off a live coding session from your desktop to your phone, or generate a secure, short-lived link to share a locally running dev server.
