Understand Anything is an AI-powered code understanding tool that turns your codebase into an interactive knowledge graph. Instead of showing you a tangle of files and functions, it maps your code to real business domains — authentication flows, payment pipelines, user lifecycles — so you can see what your code actually does, not just where it lives. It works with Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, and more, and you can get started in about 30 seconds.

The tool goes beyond typical code graphs by adding meaning to structure. You get an explorable graph with hierarchical drill-down, fuzzy and semantic search, and the ability to filter by type, complexity, or layer. It supports 26+ file types including Dockerfiles, Terraform, SQL, and Markdown. The dependency path finder shows the shortest connection between any two components, and AI-generated guided tours walk you through the codebase step by step. You can export graphs as PNG, SVG, or filtered JSON for documentation or presentations.
