What does Town do?

Town is an AI assistant that learns how you work and then does the work for you. Instead of prompting a chatbot for every single task, you connect Town to your accounts (Gmail, Google Drive, and more) and it studies the emails, documents, and projects you've already done. From there, it can draft emails, write client proposals, prepare morning briefings, and work through your to-do list — all in your voice. The idea is simple: no setup, no training prompts, just an assistant that already understands your style.

Town uses what it calls a 'Townie' — a personalized AI agent assigned to you. You can have different Townies for different roles (one for client work, another for internal tasks). Townies read your to-do list, see what needs to be done, and start completing items. For example, if you write down 'Send an email to vendors about quarter close', Claus (a Townie) will draft it and come back with an update. The tool also coordinates with other users' Townies, so if someone reschedules a dinner, Town can confirm the new time with you. It's a step toward delegated AI, where you assign tasks and the assistant handles them start to finish.
