The robot is IP67 rated, meaning it can handle dust and water, and its rugged design protects it from impacts and extreme weather. With a 90-minute battery runtime and automatic docking for recharging, it can cover up to 2 km per charge and run multiple shifts with minimal human intervention.

What makes ANYmal stand out is its AI-powered mobility. The robot uses machine learning to navigate complex, multi-floor plants designed for humans — including open grated stairs, wet and uneven terrain, and low-crawl spaces. It operates safely alongside workers thanks to hardware emergency stops, warning lights, and safety handles.
