What does Miyo do?
Miyo is a smart irrigation system designed to save water by watering your garden only when plants actually need it. It combines a soil moisture sensor with local weather data and forecasts to calculate the exact water requirements for your garden, bed, or balcony. The system replaces conventional timer-based irrigation that wastes water and harms soil. With Miyo, you get up to 50% water savings while keeping your plants healthy.
The hardware consists of a central Cube controller, wireless soil moisture sensors, and solar-powered valves. The sensors measure moisture, temperature, and sunlight, then send data via radio (up to 200m or 10km depending on the variant) to the Cube. Miyo's app lets you monitor conditions, adjust schedules, and control watering from anywhere. The valves are solar-charged so you never need to replace batteries. The system also integrates with smart home platforms like Homey, Loxone, and Home Assistant.
Miyo is ideal for anyone with a garden, terrace, raised bed, or balcony who wants to simplify irrigation and conserve water. It works with most watering systems — sprinklers, drip lines, soaker hoses. Developed and manufactured in Europe, it's a durable, set-and-forget solution for greener, healthier plants.
