Sowee

Sowee is a connected home energy management system from EDF, built around a smart thermostat called the Station. It lets you control your heating room by room — set different temperatures for different times of day, get a monthly budget estimate, and receive alerts if your consumption looks like it will go over. The system promises up to 15% savings on your energy bill by only heating when it's actually needed.

The Station comes in two versions: Station Élec’ for electric radiators and Station Gaz for gas boilers. Both work with a mobile app that lets you adjust temperatures remotely, activate an Away mode to pause heating, and view your usage. The electric version uses a Receiver on each radiator and a temperature sensor per room, so each room can have its own heating program. The gas version uses an Actuator that talks to your boiler, with a single program for the whole home. You can also add optional connected thermostatic heads for finer control. The system is available on a rental plan starting at €6.90/month (electric) or €9.90/month (gas), with professional installation included.

Sowee is best for homeowners or renters who want to cut their heating costs without manually adjusting radiators every day. It's also useful for people who travel frequently and want to manage their home's temperature from their phone. Beyond heating, the Station can connect lights, shutters, smoke detectors, and ventilation, letting you create automated scenes (morning, bedtime, work) from a single hub.
