If the claim looks strong, a licensed law firm in your state sends a demand letter or files a foreclosure suit. If it's not worth chasing, Lienhound tells you that too, for free.

The process has four steps. First, you upload your documents — about ten minutes of work. Second, Lienhound's AI sizes up the claim: it checks enforcement deadlines, whether notices were timely, whether amounts match the contract, and whether the property has enough equity to cover the debt. Third, a law firm sends a formal demand letter to the property owner and lender. Most claims settle at this stage. Fourth, if the demand doesn't work, the firm files a foreclosure lawsuit — which typically blocks any sale or refinancing until the lien is resolved.
