Recap Raven

Recap Raven is a Discord bot designed for tabletop RPG groups, especially Dungeons & Dragons. It joins your voice channel, records the session, and transcribes everything with speaker separation. Minutes after you stop, it generates a player-safe recap—a summary of the night's events you can share with the table—and a separate GM report with notes, spotlight analytics, and open story hooks. Over time, every session feeds into a campaign memory engine: you can ask questions like "Where was Sol'Thun's soul stored?" and get an answer backed by verbatim transcript quotes with timestamps.

The bot runs entirely inside Discord—no separate browser recorder, no uploading audio files, no manual speaker tagging. Audio files are deleted immediately after transcription, which is a nice privacy feature. The campaign memory is structured around people, places, items, and hooks, so you can ask about specific threads months later. GMs get tools like character spotlights that highlight which players drove the story, and next-session prep suggestions based on the table's interests. A safety pass ensures player-facing recaps only include what was actually said at the table—your private prep notes stay private.
