Clark

Clark Labs is an AI research lab where the engineering and research work is done entirely by autonomous AI agents. Humans don't write code or run experiments — they bring taste, intuition, and feedback. The lab is building several core technologies: Clark Agent (a computer-use agent), Clark Hash (a memory layer), Clark Air (model compression), and foundation research into byte-level reasoning models. Clark Code is a separate product — a coding IDE that runs on your machine with Clark built in. It reads, edits, and runs your actual project files, keeps a persistent memory of your codebase's architecture and conventions, and can tap into Clark's research infrastructure to search and cite findings inline. It's optimized for long coding sessions with a low-cost model tuned for coding. Downloads are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The main audience is developers and researchers who want to offload hands-on engineering to AI while staying in the loop as creative directors. Clark Code is useful for anyone who wants an AI coding assistant that remembers their repo's context across sessions. The mobile app (Android, iOS coming soon) lets you take Clark with you.
