Blaxel Agent Drive

Blaxel Agent Drive is a distributed filesystem built specifically for AI agents. It lets multiple agents running in separate sandboxes share files, session context, and data in real-time — without the overhead of object storage or manual orchestration. Think of it as a cloud drive that mounts directly into your sandbox's file tree, so agents can read and write the same files concurrently, just like they would on a local machine.

The system uses a custom POSIX-compliant FUSE client that makes the drive behave like any other path in the filesystem. You create a drive with a single API call, mount it in any sandbox, and agents can start reading and writing immediately. Blaxel Agent Drive is optimized for the small-file, high-concurrency access patterns that agents actually produce — beta users report 5-10x faster performance compared to using S3 for similar workloads. Storage is elastic and grows automatically, so you don't need to plan capacity in advance.

This tool is most useful for developers building multi-agent systems where agents need to share memory, session history, knowledge bases, or intermediate results.
