Foreverse

Foreverse is an Android app (iOS early access coming) that blends an e-reader with an AI writing assistant and a roleplay tavern. You can load any novel — or start your own — and when you reach a passage you want to explore further, just select it. A toolbar pops up with options to continue the story, rephrase a sentence, generate an illustration, narrate the scene aloud, or even branch off into an alternate direction. The app treats every story as a living thing: abandoned books can get the ending you wanted, and every choice creates a new branch.

What makes Foreverse stand out is its flexibility. It supports 62 model providers — OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, xAI, plus any OpenAI/Anthropic-compatible endpoint — and you bring your own API keys (BYOK). Keys stay on your device, never touching Foreverse's servers. The app also includes a Tavern mode for character chat with worldbooks (lore entries that trigger automatically), a Visual Novel Theater that turns any book into a playable VN with choices that write back into the story, and an AI Companion with long-term memory that sends proactive messages. There are five page-turn modes, TTS, and a prompt-cache system that can cut token costs by 50–90%.

This is a tool for readers who want to go beyond the page — fanfiction writers, roleplayers, and anyone who's ever wished a book had just one more chapter.
