Frameway is an upcoming AI-powered video editor that promises to turn raw footage into polished videos with minimal manual work. Instead of dragging clips around a timeline, you upload your footage, describe what you want in plain language, and the tool generates a first draft. It's designed for people who need to produce videos quickly — social media managers, content creators, and agencies — without sacrificing the ability to fine-tune later.

The platform uses a set of AI agents that work in the background. A Storyteller agent figures out the narrative and editing style. Face Detection keeps subjects framed properly across cuts. Object Detection identifies key items (like a product or a bike) so the AI knows what to focus on. Mood Analysis (coming soon) reads the emotional arc to pick the most impactful moments. You also get chat-based editing, automatic captions in over 80 languages, brand kits with color presets and caption styles, and multi-format exports for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. After the AI builds the first draft, you can tweak everything with pro-level controls.

Frameway is still in development — the site says it's coming summer 2026 and currently has a waitlist. It's best suited for teams that need to produce on-brand video content at scale, like marketing agencies or social media teams. Solo creators who want to speed up their editing workflow will also find it useful.
