Outside Agent

Outside Agent is a platform for building AI-powered phone and SMS agents that can handle real-world customer interactions. You give your agent a phone number, memory, and the ability to text, call, take actions, and escalate to a human when needed. It's designed to work with the coding agent you already use — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, and others — so you don't need to learn a new tool or manage separate infrastructure.

Getting started is surprisingly simple. You copy a single MCP URL from your Outside Agent console, paste it into your coding editor, and describe the agent you want in plain language. Your coding agent then builds, tests, and publishes the agent automatically. No SDKs, no API keys, no dashboard wrangling. The platform handles the backend — phone numbers, SMS routing, voice calls, and knowledge bases — so you can focus on the agent's behavior. Each agent can have its own knowledge base (up to 500 MB on the Pro plan), and you can test it before going live. If the agent gets stuck, it can hand off to your team via a human-in-the-loop flow.
