SKI

SKI is a small desktop app for Mac and Windows that lets you talk to your AI coding agent and hear it reply in a natural voice. It turns your coding workflow into a two-way conversation: you speak, your agent listens and writes code, runs tests, or answers questions — then speaks back. Everything runs on your own computer; no audio is ever uploaded.

SKI supports agents like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, and OpenClaw. It features on-device speech-to-text and voice synthesis, full-duplex barge-in so you can interrupt the agent mid-sentence, and a floating pill or notch-based interface. You can mute your mic, switch to silent mode (text only from the agent), or turn on approve-before-send to review transcripts before they reach the agent. It also includes a local meeting transcriber that captures mic and system audio from Zoom, Meet, or Teams.

This tool is built for developers who already use AI coding agents and want a hands-free, voice-driven loop. It's especially useful in pair-programming contexts, during code reviews, or for staying in the flow without switching windows. Privacy is a core feature: all processing happens locally, and users can inspect or delete every byte.
