Termexo

Termexo is a desktop app for Windows that lets you run multiple AI coding agents — like Claude Code and Codex CLI — at the same time, all visible in a single resizable grid. Instead of juggling separate terminals or browser tabs, you open each agent in its own pane within Termexo, and the app remembers your layout, project folder, and which model each terminal was using when you close and reopen it. It's a local tool: no account, no cloud sync, nothing leaves your PC.

The app does a few things that make working with multiple agents genuinely easier. When an agent is waiting for your approval (stuck on a permission prompt, for example), Termexo shows a persistent banner and flashes the taskbar — so you don't miss it even if that terminal isn't the one in focus. It also lists every past Claude Code and Codex session across your projects, searchable by name or branch, and lets you resume any of them with full history via the CLI's own resume commands. For power users, Termexo supports model routing: you can point Claude Code at other providers like DeepSeek, MiniMax, or GLM, save those as profiles, and switch between them without editing config files. API keys go into Windows Credential Manager, not plain text.

The tool is made for developers who regularly use two or more coding agents and want a unified view without losing track of what each one is doing. It's especially useful if you switch between projects frequently and want to pick up exactly where you left off. Because it runs entirely locally and needs no sign-up, it also appeals to anyone with strict data residency requirements. Termexo is in active development — version 0.3 is current, with planned features like mobile approvals and remote access coming later.
