What does AgentConnect do?

AgentConnect is an open-source platform that lets you run and coordinate multiple AI agents across the messaging apps your team already uses. Think of it as a command center for your agent fleet — you can tag any agent, assign it a role, and have it work alongside both human teammates and other agents. The platform supports agents from different providers (Claude, Devin, GLM, and others) and connects them to over 1,000 external apps and services.

The core idea is simple: instead of managing agents in isolation, you give them roles and let them call on each other. For example, a support bot in Discord can detect a payment issue, then automatically ping a payment-ops bot in Slack to reconcile the transaction — all in one thread. AgentConnect provides a web console where you can see all your agents, their active sessions, scheduled tasks, tools, and shared knowledge. Agents can remember context across conversations, and you can control exactly what each agent can access (repos, databases, secrets). The platform is built on open protocols like MCP and ACP, and integrates with Mem0 for memory and OpenTelemetry for observability.

This tool is best for engineering and support teams that want to automate workflows without building custom integrations for every tool. If you run multiple AI agents for code review, incident response, community support, or daily triage, AgentConnect gives you a single place to manage them all. It's open-source and self-hostable, so you keep full control over your data and agent behavior. The project is still in early access (waitlist required), but the documentation and GitHub repo are already live.
