Questro

Questro puts live AI captions and translated text on event screens. An operator starts transcription from any microphone the browser can reach, chooses a source language and target languages, then opens a display link. As the speaker talks, captions appear on venue screens, shared displays, or an attendee's own phone. There is no interpreter booth, no extra receiver hardware, and nothing to install. The display link is just a web page, so the same captions can serve the in-person room, a livestream layout, and remote attendees at the same time.

What makes Questro interesting is script awareness. Before the event, you can upload a script, speaker notes, an agenda, or a terminology list. Questro extracts names, acronyms, and technical terms ahead of time, so the words that matter are more likely to survive speech recognition and translation. For prepared talks, script alignment can also act as a fallback when live audio is incomplete or delayed. The page lists 18 source languages, nine fully supported and nine in beta, plus 69 translation targets.

The best fit is events where scalable, readable language access matters more than audio interpretation: international conferences without a booth, hybrid sessions with remote viewers, and rooms with deaf or hard-of-hearing attendees.
