You can upload DOCX, PDF, MD, or plain text, and work in a side-by-side editor with your chosen language pair. The translation is just the starting point; the real value is in the tools built around it.

The standout feature is what Transept calls "decision-context memory." Every time you approve a translation, the tool remembers not just the final wording but also the alternatives you rejected and the comments that explained your choice. That context feeds back into the AI on future translations, across documents and across your team. You also get glossaries that travel with you, sentence-level controls to steer tone (like "more formal" or "keep the metaphor"), and a built-in literary editor named Literess who reads your work, flags tone drift, and can run workflows on your behalf. Review mode lets you share a clean reading view with clients or reviewers — no emailing DOCX files.
