What does Tellie do?

Tellie is a macOS teleprompter that listens while you speak. Instead of scrolling at a fixed speed, it follows the words that actually come out of your mouth. Pause for a thought and it waits. Skip a line and it jumps with you. Ad-lib a sentence and it picks up your place when you get back. The effect is a prompter that gets out of your way, so you can look at the camera and talk like a person.

The distinguishing feature is Voice Follow, speech recognition that runs entirely on-device in 40+ languages. No audio is uploaded and no account is required. Tellie also includes Stagehand, which lets you mark must-cover points in a script and checks them off as you say them, even if you phrase them differently, plus a warning when a point is running out of time. Presenter Magic puts Keynote speaker notes in the Mac's notch. And the app's window is excluded from macOS screen capture by default, so Zoom, Teams, Meet, recordings, and screenshots show only what's behind it.
