AutoSprite

AutoSprite is a web-based AI tool that turns a single character image — or even just a text prompt — into a full set of game-ready sprite sheets and animations. Instead of manually slicing, padding, and renaming frames, you upload one sprite, describe the motion you want, and pick a moveset (idle, walk, run, jump, attack, or custom). The tool outputs production-ready PNG sheets with atlas metadata and individual frames, ready to drop into engines like Unity, Godot, GameMaker, and Phaser. It also supports 8-directional isometric animations, 3D model generation from a character image, and cinematic cutscene videos from text prompts.

The workflow is straightforward: upload or create a character, choose or describe the animations, preview each move in the browser, and export. AutoSprite gives you control over frame rates per move, loop start and end points, and reusable presets so you can standardize timing across a whole project. It also integrates with coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex through MCP (Model Context Protocol), letting you generate spritesheets directly from your development environment.
