Harmonic Security

Harmonic Security is an AI governance platform designed for enterprises that need to understand and control how employees use artificial intelligence inside the organisation. Instead of blocking entire websites or relying on static Data Loss Prevention rules, it monitors the actual content of AI interactions—whether someone is drafting an email inside ChatGPT Work, generating code in Cursor, or querying an embedded AI feature in Canva. The platform classifies each task by its business purpose, such as 'Product Roadmap Research' or 'Contract Negotiation', and lets security teams enforce policies in real time.

The system works through a lightweight browser extension and a desktop agent that capture prompts and responses at the source. It covers all major browsers, desktop AI applications like Claude Desktop and ChatGPT Desktop, and the agentic layer via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). When a risky action is detected—for example, an employee pasting a confidential deal memo into a public AI tool—Harmonic can block it immediately, warn the user with context, or log it silently for later review. The platform also detects indirect prompt injection attacks, which traditional network-based tools cannot see.
