What does EvoForge do?
EvoForge is a personal AGI that runs entirely on your own computer. It handles coding at frontier level, understands images, audio, video, and documents, and can produce code, essays, images, voice, music, and even finished films. Unlike tools that are just shells over someone else's command line, EvoForge is built on an original agent kernel written in Rust — so every capability is native, not patched together from plugins. It comes with 54 built-in skills and can grow new ones as it works.
EvoForge works through a combination of tools and orchestration methods. It has 98 native host tools for reading documents, driving the browser and desktop, keeping a persistent shell, and rewriting code structurally. Coordination happens either through a lead that hands out tasks or a swarm where specialists claim work from a shared board. A mutation gate runs changes in an isolated worktree, requiring regression tests to pass before anything lands. The director's console lets you turn a text brief into a film: narration becomes the master clock, shots are generated into placeholders, and you review, swap, and export via a multi-track timeline. It supports multiple backends for video (VEO, Gemini Omni, Seedance, Wan) and music (Lyria), while images are handled by Nano Banana.
EvoForge is best for developers, creators, and researchers who want a powerful AI assistant that works locally and can adapt to their specific needs. Coders will appreciate the frontier-level coding with lead/swarm coordination and mutation gates. Filmmakers and content creators can use the director's console to produce narrated videos and films. The tool's ability to distill successful trajectories into new skills means it gets better at what you need it to do over time. It runs on Windows and macOS and supports any frontier model, local or cloud.
