Mindmapi.ai is a browser-based mind map maker aimed at students. You feed it a source — typed notes, a PDF, a Word document, a recorded lecture, or a YouTube link — and the AI reads the material and lays it out as an interactive mind map. The central topic becomes the middle of the map, with branches and sub-branches holding the supporting detail. You can then drag branches, reword nodes, add your own notes, and export the finished map to PDF or Word. There is nothing to install, and the free tier does not require a credit card.

The AI also writes notes behind each branch, so clicking a node gives you a fuller explanation of that subtopic without leaving the map.
