Just sign in with Google, get 6 free credits, and start generating images from text prompts. Each prompt shows the actual output it produced, so you know what to expect. You can open any prompt, tweak the text, pick an aspect ratio (1:1, 4:5, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, or 9:16), choose a resolution from 1K to 4K, and set quality to Standard or High.
