What does Juggler do?
Juggler is a visual workbench for AI coding agents. It gives you a desktop interface to see and control agents like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Ollama. You can run it locally on your machine or on a remote server and access the same live session from the desktop app or a browser. Conversations are stored as trees, not linear logs, so you can branch off into sub-threads for tangents or delegated tasks without cluttering the main context. Tool calls open into proper views, and every model transaction is inspectable.
What sets Juggler apart is its focus on transparency and control. You can inspect system prompts, messages, tool definitions, output, token use, timing, and stop reason for any model transaction. The Context Surgeon feature lets you fold history, move items between branches, and undo structural changes. Sessions persist on disk, surviving app restarts and network disconnects. The app is built with Go (not Electron), and its core is open source under AGPLv3. Extensions use a permissive Apache-2.0 SDK, so you can customize or replace almost any part of the interface. It also supports MCP tools with full inspectability.
