prg.ai

prg.ai is a Prague-based nonprofit initiative that aims to turn the city into a European hub for artificial intelligence. It doesn't build AI models or offer a software product. Instead, it acts as a central connector for the local AI scene — mapping companies, research groups, universities, and investors, and running events and educational programs. Think of it as a chamber of commerce for AI in Prague.

The initiative maintains a detailed directory of the Czech AI ecosystem: over 150 companies, 55 research groups, 28 VC firms, and 22 educational institutions. It also brings together more than 40 member companies and partners. prg.ai co-organizes AI Days, the largest AI festival in Czechia, and the AI Awards. On the education side, it coordinates the prg.ai Minor — a program that combines courses from four faculties of Charles University and CTU. It also distributes the Czech version of the Elements of AI online course. A monthly newsletter and media monitor keep the community informed.
