What does SkimIt.ai do?
SkimIt.ai is about as simple as it gets. You find an article you want to read but don't have time. You email the link to go@SkimIt.ai. About ten minutes later, a summary lands in your inbox. No app to download, no account to create, no credit card. Just an email.
The process is dead simple because the tool was designed that way. You can even CC friends on the email — they'll get both the original article from you and a summary from SkimIt. Under the hood, it uses OpenAI's GPT to read the article and condense it into key takeaways. The team behind it, Karthik and Alex, built it as a hackathon project, and it shows in the lean, no-frills approach. There's no dashboard, no settings, nothing to configure.
Who is this for? Anyone who reads a lot of articles and wishes they could get the gist without spending 20 minutes per piece.
