Compyle is an AI coding agent designed to work with you, not for you. Instead of generating code autonomously and potentially making incorrect assumptions, it first researches your specific codebase, understands your existing patterns, and then creates a detailed plan. The key differentiator is that it stops to ask you clarifying questions throughout the entire process, ensuring the final output aligns with your vision before a single line of code is written.

It works in three distinct phases: Research, Planning, and Implementation. During the Research phase, it scans your repositories, greps for patterns, and reads relevant files to understand your project's context. In the Planning phase, it formulates a build plan and presents you with specific questions about implementation details, like UI layout choices or architectural patterns. Finally, during Implementation, it writes the code but will pause and ask for guidance if anything is unclear, preventing it from veering off course.
