SessionCast

SessionCast is a web-based tool that lets developers monitor and interact with their terminal sessions from a mobile device. It streams your CLI output in real-time to your smartphone, allowing you to see what your AI coding agents are doing and provide additional input when needed. The service works with popular AI coding tools like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, Cursor, and Ollama.

The tool uses WebSocket technology to maintain a persistent connection with under 50ms latency, ensuring you see terminal output as it happens. The mobile interface is fully responsive and includes a functional keyboard for sending commands. Security is handled through Google OAuth2 authentication, so only you can access your sessions. The system also includes data compression to minimize mobile data usage.

SessionCast is particularly useful for developers who need to step away from their desks while AI agents are working. You can check build progress during meetings, monitor deployments while commuting, or simply avoid walking back to your desk to see if a task has finished.
