Remodex is an open-source iPhone app that gives you remote control over your Codex AI coding assistant. It connects to your desktop Codex installation through a local Node.js bridge, allowing you to manage AI coding sessions, steer active runs, and queue follow-up prompts directly from your iPhone. The tool works through a secure QR code pairing system that establishes end-to-end encryption using X25519 key exchange with AES-256-GCM encryption. It offers two interactive modes: Fast mode for low-latency iteration and Plan mode for structured thinking. Beyond AI control, Remodex includes complete Git workflow management, letting you commit, push, pull, branch, and inspect diffs from your phone. The desktop sync feature ensures your session history remains consistent across devices.
