Crodo AI

Crodo AI is a macOS voice assistant that lives behind global hotkeys and lets you talk to your Mac instead of typing. Hold a key, speak, and it can dictate clean text into whatever app you are in, answer questions, search the web, open apps, or look at your screen and help with what is in front of you. It also records meetings, produces transcripts, and turns long calls into summaries, decisions, and action items.

The whole point is speed. Crodo AI's hotkeys work outside the app, so you can dictate into email, Slack, docs, or tickets without switching windows. A separate hotkey opens a voice chat for asking things out loud; screen-aware mode captures the active display so the assistant can reason about it. The meeting notes feature records mic plus system audio, then sends the recording to the backend for transcription and AI notes. You can also connect Gmail, Google Calendar, and Slack. Ask about unread emails or today's schedule, and it reads the real data instead of guessing. Account linking uses each provider's own sign-in screen, so Crodo never sees your password, and nothing is connected until you approve it.

Crodo AI also remembers things you tell it: projects, people, preferences, tasks, and reminders in your own timezone. There is a custom dictionary for names it mishears, configurable hotkeys, microphone selection, and searchable history. It is most useful for people who spend their day writing, attending calls, and juggling email or calendars — anyone who wants to keep their hands on the keyboard for real work and let their voice handle the busywork.
