AgentPeek

AgentPeek is a macOS app that lives in your Mac's notch and menu bar, giving you a constant view of what your AI coding agents are up to. It works with Claude Code and Codex — two popular agentic coding tools — and shows you every session they're running, their current status (working, waiting, or done), how many tokens they've used, and any permission requests they need from you. Instead of switching between terminal windows or desktop apps to check on your agents, you glance up at the notch and know exactly what's happening.

The app works by installing small hooks for Claude Code and Codex on your Mac. Those hooks let it read session data, token usage, diffs, and pending requests without sending anything off your machine. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry — your code and prompts stay local. Features include live token tracking with 5-hour and 7-day limit countdowns, one-click responses to permission prompts using keyboard shortcuts (⌘A to allow, ⌘N to deny), and quick access to local dev servers, session config, and tool call history. You can run agents in any terminal or in their own desktop apps, and new sessions show up automatically.
