Distill.cv is a CV processing engine built specifically for recruitment agencies. It takes messy, inconsistent candidate CVs — PDFs or Word documents — and turns them into clean, branded, client-ready files in about 30 seconds. The tool handles formatting, applies your agency's house style, and anonymises personal details like name, email, phone, photo, and graduation year. It also ensures the output is compatible with over 30 applicant tracking systems (ATS) commonly used in the UK, Australia, and Europe, including Bullhorn, Vincere, JobAdder, and Firefish.
You can use Distill.cv in three ways: upload a CV directly on the web, forward it via email to process@distill.cv, or integrate via API. The processing happens in RAM and files are deleted immediately after — nothing is stored. The tool also includes free interactive tools like a recruiter time savings calculator, a CV word count and readability analyser, and a keyword checker that matches a candidate's CV against a job description.
