What does AgentManager do?
AgentManager is a macOS desktop app that keeps tabs on every Claude Code session you have running. It lives as a floating window on your screen, showing each session's status — running, waiting for input, idle, or done — along with how long it's been in that state. When a session needs your attention, the window pops up automatically. When everything's resolved, it hides again. You can also toggle it on and off with a keyboard shortcut.
The app hooks into Claude Code to detect sessions as they start. It works with iTerm2, Terminal, Ghostty, VS Code, Cursor, Zed, Android Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Warp, kitty, WezTerm, Alacritty, and tmux. Click any row to jump straight to the right terminal pane, tab, or IDE window. A menu-bar icon shows colored dots with session counts so you always know how many sessions are waiting without opening the window. There's also a pixel-art cat room that shifts between day and night scenes, and a cat meow alert when a session needs input (mutable). A Simple mode strips away decorations for a minimal list-only view.
AgentManager is built for developers who run multiple Claude Code sessions at once and need a quick way to see what's waiting and jump to it. It costs $4.99/month or $48/year, with a 7-day free trial that requires no credit card. Your session data — prompts, file paths, session names — never leaves your Mac. The app is notarized by Apple and updates are cryptographically verified.
