GhostChat

GhostChat is a live chat widget that also includes an AI chatbot. It's designed to be lightweight and privacy-friendly. Unlike many chat tools, it doesn't slow down your site or drop cookies. You add one script tag, and visitors can chat with your team or with the AI. The widget is 10-20 times lighter than alternatives like Intercom or Crisp, so your pages load exactly as fast as before.

The AI runs on Claude Haiku from Anthropic. You can give it a knowledge base of FAQs and a behavior prompt, and it will answer questions automatically. When it can't answer, it collects the visitor's email and notifies you. You can also bring your own AI model by connecting any LLM via a webhook — Ollama, GPT-4, whatever you like. GhostChat fires the event, your bot replies. No per-message fees. The pricing is flat: $25/month for a team plan (up to 10 teammates) and you can add the AI for $10 more.
