What does MapMC do?

MapMC turns any real place on Earth into a Minecraft world you can open and play. You draw a rectangle on an OpenStreetMap-backed map, choose Java or Bedrock, and the service returns a world file with roads, buildings, water, terrain, and land cover laid out along the real street pattern. It is a map generator, not a screenshot: the result is a downloadable world that works in the game.

The whole process runs in the browser, with no install, no mods, and no command line. On the generator page you pan to any location, draw an area up to 22 km², and switch options such as terrain, interior, roofs, and land cover while the price updates live. MapMC fetches public OpenStreetMap data and processes it with the Arnis Rust engine. Java players get a ZIP for their saves folder; Bedrock players get a .mcworld file for Windows, mobile, or console. Large areas can take 10–20 minutes to generate. MapMC also sells AI texture sets as paid extras, but the core conversion does not depend on AI. The service is independent from Mojang and from Arnis/MapSmith, and generation is paid per selected area with credits.

The tool is best for Minecraft players who want to walk around their own neighborhood, a recognizable landmark, or a city block inside the game. Content creators can use the worlds in YouTube videos and streams, and educators or hobbyists can turn real geography into something playable.
